The love interest. Lia moved into Fiona's neighborhood with her parents from who-knows-where. She says she had lots of friends at her old school, but is content with hanging out with just Fiona and Jake these days.
Parts of Lia are a complete mystery to Fiona, and Lia doesn't tend to clarify things unless Fiona directly asks.

Lia is a bit random at times, and very energetic. She's latched onto Fiona like superglue, and sometimes she wears Fiona out a bit. The only thing that depresses her a bit is Sadako, a girl from her old school come for a visit.

Random Fact About Lia: Her favorite show is a cartoon called "Lewis the Magical Wonder Kitten," which features a cartoon cat. Fiona doesn't understand Lia's choice in television at all.
